Our Mission

We create space for community to gather and experience facilitated arts and music making programs focused on wellbeing. We do this by hosting individuals, groups and organizations at their location or one of our two locations: Liverpool Art Center, Liverpool, NY and Pathfinder Studio and Nature Sanctuary, Martville, NY.

Our Vision

AS the programs grow each year we envision fostering a large community of families, individuals, staff and volunteers that come together regularly attending and facilitating creative wellness programs under our trademarked brand: Creative Rhythms Events™️. While the timeline of this growth has wavered during and after the pandemic of 2020, we continue to move forward with new programs and a growing community and staff. Our vision is to grow as a sustainable pace as we host a full schedule of community arts programs and arts wellness programs in nature.

Our History

Liverpool Art Center / Artistic innovations Visual Arts Community Center LLC has been offering creative programs to families, individuals and organizations since 2002 with a simple vision: We build community using creative programs. Our paint along workshops, creative self-care events and staff trainings have been facilitating wellness programs using art and music making activities to help individuals connect through creative experiences. In 2004 our programs shifted focus toward individuals with special needs by providing workshops and staff trainings offering a unique blend of art and mindfulness activities.

Testimonials

“ Every year we look forward to Sandra’s Meditative Painting at Teen Institute. It’s the highlight of the weekend. I’m not sure it would be the same without Sandi there. She just has a way of calming. And I just love painting like that.” ~Nicole /Teen Prevention Network

“The drum training was fun. I loved learning new ways to bring in the community. I can’t wait to learn the arts program with Sandra.” Jared/Anchor Recovery Center

“The best part about the event was that I stopping thinking. My mind races all the time and that causes stress. So when I can just sit and doodle like we learned here? I think I can actually try this at home and in the classroom.” Olivia. CiTi BOCES
