ONGOING LAC STUDIO MEMBERS

CLOSINGS/CANCELLATIONS:

In the event of inclement weather please check your email and News Channel 9 for closings and cancellations. We list Liverpool Art Center at least an hour prior to the start of class/event. Sign up on Channel 9’s closing web page to receive text alerts for our center.

When we cancel class for any reason students may email to receive a make up class to be used within 60 days(no refunds). Trial period students may extend their trial by one week. Most cases result in an immediate refund and an email explaining why the event was cancelled (ie. weather, not enough students, sickness, COVID status changes etc..)

REFUNDS /RE-SCHEDULES / STORE CREDIT/ MEMBERSHIP TERMINATION:

7 Day Buyer's remorse: Registrations for some classes or events listed may be refunded within 7 days of purchase and only if that date falls within more than 72 hours of the start class date/time. Does not apply if student attends classes.
Re-schedule Policy: Students who email or call to re-schedule the class after registration and more than 72 hours prior to the start of 1st class may email to receive a make up class to be used within 60 days(no refunds). Determination of eligibility is 100% up to the instructor and administration.
Maybe a refund is applicable? Students who find that the program is not a good fit may qualify for partial refund of unused classes “in some cases” up to 30% at the discretion of administration. These cases are rare and most often end in store credit applicable to most events listed on the calendar.
Terminating Membership: Written notification is required at least 10 business days before the next billing date. The office will complete the termination within 14 - 30 days. Charges may apply. Does not apply when student attends class/event date within the membership. No refunds. (see disclaimer agreement when submitting payment).
After the Class Date/Time and No Communication from the registrant?...No refunds or credits after the date/time of the event if the student attended or did not attend for any reason.
Store credit may be applied if re-scheduling the class is arrange more than 72 hours before the class date/time. 100% up to the discretion of the instructor and administration to determine eligibility. Email request to apply.

BILLING:

Payable to: Any charges for any event or class listed will appear on your bill as Artistic Innovations VACC LLC. PayPal charges may appear as Liverpool Art Center.

Disputes: Please email office if you would like to dispute any charges on your bank account. FYI….it takes less time and energy for customers and our office if we communicate than disputing through PayPay or banks. We are fair, honest and remain accountable for who we serve.

Ongoing membership payments: These are recurring charges posted to your credit card or PayPal account monthly upon registering. The monthly payment date will recur on the initial payment date(i.e. If you register August 1st, your payment for the following month will be charged to your account September 1st) In some cases members can change their recurring billing date if necessary.

COVID PROTOCOL FOR LAC STUDIO:

We are currently honoring the choice to mask up. Our community is 100% vaccinated.
We honor anyone who chooses to wear a mask.
Most students do not wear masks in class or when standing.

We are doing our best to create and maintain safe space for all who visit and attend classes at LAC Studio. The following guidelines are in place to help us keep our studio open! Please read carefully.

Students will be asked to show proof of vaccination on the first day of attending class. (Why?…everyone in the studio has the right to know the level of risk involved in sharing space with 10+ people in a space that does not have windows) We keep results private, but we do announce when there is an unvaccinated person in the studio so that students can choose to mask up if they choose.

Students will be asked to leave if unable to adhere to LAC studio COVID Protocol: All classes and event follow strict covid protocol according to current NYS and CDC guidelines.

All participants and guests unwilling to follow guidelines as listed and posted onsite will be asked to leave and will not receive a refund.
When masks are required, we enforce “masks up when you stand up” rules.
When masks are optional for vaccinated persons, we ask for proof of vaccine and honor anyone who chooses to wear a mask for their own comfort.

NOTE ABOUT UNVACCINATED PERSONS: Anyone unable to get vaccinated IS welcome at LAC Studio unless otherwise stated in the registration. Masks and social distancing and hand washing will be 100% required when onsite. Mask on at all time when unvaccinated (until further notice…as we navigate this pandemic).

In some cases we require proof of a COVID test before returning to the studio:

If you travel we will require a photo of a negative test taken within 72 hours before returning to the art studio.
If you are exposed to someone who tests positive for COVID, we will require a photo of a negative test taken within 72 hours before returning to the art studio.
If you test positive for COVID we will ask that you not return for 14+ days and we will require a photo of a negative test taken within 72 hours before returning to the art studio.

What if someone tests positive for COVID and they were in class with you?… We inform VIA text s soon as we find out and require everyone to wait 72 hours from the exposure to test and text us results before returning. This is our best practice to stop the spread.

Some Classes Require Vaccination Proof To Attend: Some classes/events are listed as vaccinated registrants only for the safety of our participants in some situations or we may be forced to do so for financial reasons beyond our control (i.e. meeting minimum enrollment to afford to run a program).

MAKE-UP CLASSES for Teens & Adults:

Applicable to Ongoing Members Only

During COVID Re-Open we may not be able to honor your option for certain day/time for your make-up classes due to the limited seating capacity. Thank you for your understanding as we navigate how to safely offer studio classes to our community during uncertain times. Safety is our first priority. Contact your teacher by email with any questions.

Standard make-up class policy:

Important: Please note that you may make up any missed classes during any of the other scheduled/comparable classes with permission from the teacher.

To qualify for make up classes:

Students must be registered as an ongoing LAC Studio Member

AND

give advance notice of your absence prior to the start of the class according to the cancellation policy.

IMPORTANT DETAILS for making up classes:

***All communication must be submitted by email to qualify for make up class

** If you take a break or do not pay monthly fee, all make-up classes are forfeited.

***Students have 60 days from the re-scheduled class date to make up the missed class.

Students are asked to give a minimum 72 hour EMAIL notice if you’re unable to attend regular and/or a make-up class. This will allow us to make that space available for others to make up a missed class. If you are leaving for any period of time (for sports/winter months…) we cannot guarantee the same space in a class on your return and you will not be able to redeem any make-up classes accumulated as an ongoing student.

**We NO LONGER follow the Liverpool School District cancellations. Our a schedule is very different.

Artistic Innovations VACC LLC Events Terms and Conditions

Please read carefully before registering. This Agreement certifies that by submitting registration, you agree to the following applicable terms. The agreement is legally signed and time stamped upon submission of registration

Liability Disclaimer: Agreement for attending music and/or art events hosted, sponsored or facilitated by Artistic Innovations VACC LLC and all staff/volunteers.

By registering and submitting a release agreement, registrants release Artistic Innovations VACC LLC and Liverpool Art Center and Creative Rhythms Facilitators from all liability relating to injuries that may occur during the event or class. By clicking the enter/submit button while registering, you agree to hold Artistic Innovations VACC LLC and Liverpool Art Center and Creative Rhythms Facilitators entirely free from any liability, including financial responsibility for injuries incurred. This agreement includes all staff and volunteers working the event.

By clicking the registration button you acknowledge that you are participating voluntarily. Additionally, you certify that you are in good health and can participate in the activities facilitated, hosted and organized by Liverpool Art Center/Artistic Innovations VACC LLC.

By clicking the registration button you forfeit all right to bring a suit against Artistic Innovations VACC LLC and Liverpool Art Center and Creative Rhythms Facilitators for any reason.

Signature & Date of release form: For under age registrants, the parent or guardian signature is validated by registration submission with a legal date confirmed by registration date.

>Teen/Youth Registration Liability Agreement

Your submission of registration certifies that your child is in good health and can participate in the daily activities of the event hosted and organized by Liverpool Art Center/Artistic Innovations VACC LLC.

By submitting the registration, you agree not to hold Liverpool Art Center/Artistic Innovations VACC LLC or any staff/instructor liable for any injury or accident that occurs while your child is participating in this program.

In case of an injury, you grant Artistic Innovations VACC LLC Staff/volunteers permission to administer standard first aid treatment on site or to transport you child to the nearest medical facility equipped to handle the injury.

*By submitting registration, participants certify that all pictures including my child(ren) may be used by Liverpool Art Center/ Artistic Innovations VACC LLC for promotional purposes on Liverpool Art Center website and in printed promotional items.

For Pathfinder events and alternate locations…. If we cancel these events due to weather or unforeseen circumstances, we will refund fees paid in full within 15 business days of the event. If registrants cancel for any reason, a choice of credit or offer as a donation.

When the studio closes for any reason non-members receive either refund or store credit where applicable. Communications by the LAC Studio offices will inform you of the eligibility of your class upon cancellation of the class or event.

COUPONS & GIFT CERTIFICATES

Coupons, make-up vouchers and Gift Certificates are not redeemable for cash value.

Coupons and gift certificates expire 3-12 months from date of purchase or date of distribution depending on the type of coupon or gift certificate. You may contact LAC to find out about your coupon's expiration date. Please have coupon available when calling to register and when signing in for your class. Even with a coupon or certificate, pre-registration is required. Email a photo of your gift certificate and our staff can help you register for your class/event.

Coupons are applicable toward any class, ongoing classes, or private lessons unless otherwise stated in promotions or on specific event webpage within this site.(additional fees may apply).

Valid LAC Studio Coupons and Gift Certificates may be applied to items in the gift shop that are not on consignment (excludes drums, flutes and Kip’s custom gem designs).

CLASSROOM DECORUM

NO SOLICITING DURING ANY CLASS: Soliciting includes sale of art or supplies not granted permission by LAC staff, selling or promoting other art classes and events not approved by LAC Staff, or soliciting instruction during class.

The instructor has the right to remove any student who does not follow classroom decorum policy (see images below). Fees may not be reimbursed. LAC Instructors, administrative, staff, volunteers and representatives have the right to refuse service under certain conditions: inappropriate behavior, rudeness, improperly registered, abrupt, class disturbances and other situations which create an uncomfortable atmosphere for other students as well as the instructor/staff. The decision is at the discretion of the staff 100%.
