Sandra Fioramonti-Sabene

Sandra Fioramonti-Sabene - Program Director/ CEO of Liverpool Art Center/Artistic Innovations since 2002. Professional competing artist since 2001 and teacher of the arts since 2003. Sandra is the creator and founder of Creative Rhythms Events™️ an Expressive Arts and Rhythm Facilitator Training.

As an artist:

Sandra Sabene’s most known art leans towards abstracts and landscapes using all painting mediums, yet she has painted in every medium, subject and style for 30+ years. “I’ve been an artist most of life, but I finally started following my own unique path in 2003 as I became a teacher in my own studio. Through the prompting of a local community member, I began teaching watercolors and quickly expanded into all mediums. This is my preferences since I love all mediums equally. I studied in the kitchens of local artists and alongside my mother who is also a gifted artist. I studied at Onondaga Community College and Empire State, but the real learning came with running the (now) 4 businesses I created and currently operate. Each business is based in the creative arts and each one has a single priority: Build community and foster deeper connections through creative experiences. I love what I do and I believe these programs have a positive impact on our community(more than you know).”

ART CLASSES ONGOING/YEAR-ROUND: Liverpool Art Center( LAC Studio): A Visual Arts Community Center offering painting and drawing instruction for all ages and skill levels. The programs offer plenty of instruction while fostering individualism through a very unique teaching style. All students work on their own projects using a variety of mediums during any given class while receiving ample instruction for progression within their goals and desired outcomes. Youth and Tween classes offer specified cirriculum while the teen and adult classes offer a more open ended focus with lots of instruction and one-on-one attention.

ARTS AND WELLNESS: Sandra Sabene has been facilitating arts and wellness workshops, trainings and retreats since 2004. As the founder of Creative Rhythms trademarked programs, she has inspired 100s of participants to step into their creative pathway through art, rhythm and mindfulness practices. As a certified recovery coach, Reiki Master Teacher and award winning visual artist, Sandra teaches the blend of arts and healing as a way to dig deeper and connect through community building activities. Sandra’s TEDX talk, The Art of Letting Go inspires an adjusted view of self expression through art and music that evokes a desire to experience creativity as a self care practice and let go of the outcome through the art of being present.

“Our community has been through loss, success, growth, expansion and immense joy throughout our 20 years in business and this became incredibly apparent when the pandemic threatened to close our studio doors in 2020. The community stepped up and instead of closing?…we expanded! This is what community is about: compassion, acceptance, support, listening and being together even when we can not “be together”. We know what is important when our lives pivot and this center is important to many many Central New Yorkers; and me.” ~ Sandra Sabene
