This training activity exhibits a Creative Rhythms™️Facilitator Level 2 training module.

What's happening in this session:

Prior to the video being recorded drummers were led through learning 2 different rhythms and given the invitation to join in with one or the other when they feel ready. The group was also invited to get creative after the group sound started to gain momentum(they could add other sounds, various rhythms and do their best to make the whole group sound good by listening and collaborating)

In the video:

* The lead facilitator started the group with one of the two rhythms.

* The lead facilitator then stopped playing and began the second rhythm.

* The drummers listened and chose to either switch to the second rhythm or stay with the first rhythm.

* The drummers began adding other sounds and new rhythms as the group sound gained confidence.

* The group would play with this same approach of "listen, play, get creative and make the group sound good" for 10-15 minutes.

Creative Rhythms Facilitator Training (CRFT).

This video gives you an overview of the graduation presentation with 15 CR Facilitators graduating from the full Creative Rhythms ™️ Certification Program in 2019 (rhythm, art and mindfulness)

This community event offered the graduates an opportunity to facilitate what they learned during their 6 month training in expressive arts facilitation, rhythm facilitation and mindfulness practices using sound and music for inspiring a sense of belonging and well-being.

The event consisted of:

A rhythm program facilitated by 6 of the Creative Rhythms Facilitators using their own programs.

A Community Art Installation of the Tree of Life.

Creative Rhythms™️ Facilitator Training Session

This group of trainees are learning how to introduce the instruments and learning the language for group facilitation. The simplicity of the language is important and inclusive. Each facilitator learns the language nuances by practicing co-facilitation with the team over a period of 3-6 months.

During the train there are events or programs planned specifically to allow for opportunities to facilitate under the guidance of the Creative Rhythms™️ Team Leaders. This creates a learning environment and builds confidence while providing a quality experience for the participants of the training programs. Following each co-facilitated event, trainees are given opportunities to review, ask for feedback and trouble shooting any mishaps(if needed).
