At Liverpool Art Center, we don’t believe you have to choose between "serious art" and "peace of mind." Our studio is a professional, creative home base for teens who want to grow as artists without the high-pressure environment of a traditional classroom.

• For the Parent: We offer in-depth, traditional fine art instruction in drawing and painting. We provide a "money’s worth" experience where students move from beginners to advanced creators at their own pace.

• For the Teen: We offer a safe, inclusive sanctuary—especially for those who prefer drawing in their room over joining a sports team or a loud club.

• Start Anywhere: You don't have to "master" drawing before you can touch a paintbrush. Whether you want to learn technical oil painting or just explore how it feels to let go on a canvas, we meet you exactly where you are.

• Total Creative Freedom: Choose your own projects, subjects, and styles. From watercolors and acrylics to oils, charcoal, and pastels—all supplies are included.

• The Choice is Yours: Pick a guided project from our inspiration wall for a structured path, or start an original piece with a mentor nearby to help when you need it.

• A Pathway to Success: Many of our long-term students go on to college art programs and even return to teach at LAC!

• A Safe Harbor: For those who feel overwhelmed by the pressure of school or "typical" clubs, this is your home base. It is a place where you can leave the house and go somewhere you actually enjoy being.

Memberships at LAC work like a "gym membership"—they are ongoing and flexible. You can start whenever you’re ready, and your seat is always waiting for you.

PAYMENT OPTIONS: (Single class or Ongoing Membership)

Try-A-Class/One 2-hour class with instruction & all supplies: $30 (single payment)

Weekly Membership (1x/week):Four 2-hour classes per month + all supplies.$70/mo

Weekly Membership (2x/week): Eight 2-hour classes per month + all supplies.$130/mo

What to Hope For vs. What We Don't Do

• WE OFFER: Professional mentorship, a supportive "tribe," technical skill-building, and a quiet place to de-stress.

• WE DON’T DO: Rigid "follow-the-leader" classes, grades, high-pressure critiques, or "cookie-cutter" results where everyone paints the same thing.
